"TWO-FOLD"
BENEFITS OF ULTRA CUSHION INSOLES are:
To provide an
insole with EXCEPTIONAL CUSHION, COMFORT & SHOCK
ABSORPTION, but also - as a BONUS - due to their self-moulding
ability, ......
AND
To provide OVERALL "INDIVIDUAL"
CUSHIONED SUPPORT for the WHOLE FOOT so as to help PREVENT
painful/problem areas developing, and/or ALLEVIATING
existing painful/problem areas - so people with heel
spurs, heel pain, arch pain, fallen arches, flat feet,
neuromas, plantar fasciitis, ball of the foot pain (or
just plain sore feet) etc are also benefited.

- Ultra Cushion
Shoe Insoles are made from a special blend of E.V.A.,
black in colour and manufactured in Australia. They are
suitable for a WET or DRY environment.
- Available in two heel thicknesses,
11mm and 7mm - both tapering to 3mm (approx.) under the
ball of the foot. The extra heel thickness is necessary
to produce the desired 'moulding' effect and transference
of weight away from any "sore areas". The 11mm
heel thickness is recommended for people with heels spurs,
heel pain, arch area pain, plantar fasciitis, flat feet,
fallen arches, pronation or anyone just wanting extra
cushion. The 7mm heel thickness is recommended for smaller
feet, less roomy shoes, people with ball-of-the foot problems.
- Ladies & mens shoe sizes:
5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. Insoles can be trimmed to suit
using a pair of scissors - it is preferable not to trim
the heel area as the tighter the insole is against the
footwear, the more it will mould around the curvature
of the heel providing extra support.
- Provide exceptional cushion,
shock absorbency, support and comfort immediately on insertion
into shoes but they become FULLY BENEFICIAL when they
take on a FULL mould of the contours of an individual's
own feet.
The 'moulding-in' period will take approximately three
weeks, depending on amount of use. The insoles start to
mould down a little the first day, the next.... until
there is a full mould of the foot contours.
The centre of the heel will subside to around 7mm (or
4mm) - depending on which thickness is used, providing
a natural uplift to the arch area.
EXTRA PADDING is provided to allow for further build-up
(IF REQUIRED) under the ARCH and/or BALL-OF-THE FOOT areas
(see 'BENEFITS' section).
- The insoles are suitable inside
boots, gum boots, workshoes, joggers and even many dress
shoes etc. Initially, the insoles may make "certain"
types of footwear feel tight but usually within 2-3 days
of wearing-in, they have settled in nicely once a mould
of the foot has started. (If a problem fitting them in
initially, wearing them in, in looser footwear and then
transferring is recommended). The 11mm heel thickness
is always recommended but where the 11mm ones are just
not suitable, there is a thinner heel thickness available
(7mm) which tapers to a little less under the arch area
and under the ball of the foot.
- Durable & washable. To refresh
(dependent on amount of compression due to wear) insoles
can be placed in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Being
made of a 'closed air-cell' construction, the air in the
cells heats up and expands to re-shape the insoles.
- If desired, Ultra Cushion insoles
that need replacing need not be thrown away but can be
placed over newly purchased ones (if shoes will allow
for this) providing extra cushion and an already formed
'mould'.
Money-back 30-day guarantee if not satisfied. HEEL SPURS/PAIN,
PLANTAR FASCIITIS, FALLEN ARCHES,
ARCH AREA PAIN, FLAT FEET, PRONATION etc
By the perfect moulding of the Ultra Cushion shoe insoles
to the contours of the foot, weight is distributed over
the whole foot area taking pressure away from 'SORE SPOTS'
- providing overall support. In the case of heel spurs,
heel pain - improvement is often noted immediately - providing
complete freedom from the discomfort of heel spurs/pain
within approximately 3 weeks - or however long it takes
for the insoles to mould down FULLY (depending on amount
of wear).
The arch area can be built-up further if required until
firmly supported - after the wearing-in period.

WHAT IS A HEEL SPUR/PLANTAR FASCIITIS? A
heel spur, also called plantar fasciitis, is a common
painful foot condition. It is most often seen in middle-aged
men, but can be found in all age groups. The condition
is diagnosed with the classic symptoms of pain well
localized over an area of the bottom of the foot near
the heel. Often the pain is most severe when you first
stand on the foot in the morning. The condition is sometimes,
but not always, associated with a sudden gain of weight.
The plantar fascia is a thick ligamentous connective
tissue that runs from the heel bone to the ball of the
foot. This strong and tight tissue contributes to maintaining
the arch of the foot. It is also one of the major transmitters
of weight across the foot as you walk or run. Therefore,
the stress placed on the plantar fascia is tremendous,
and when there is inflammation of the fascia it can
be quite painful. When the plantar fascia becomes inflamed
due to excessive stretching, too much pressure, or trauma,
the condition of plantar fasciitis results. The plantar
fascia can become partially detached at the heel; this
causes the formation of a heel spur.
- Full support around the heel
& arch areas is essential in the case of heel spur
pain.

'BALL-OF-FOOT'
PAIN (Metatarsalgia), NEUROMAS, etc
Place padding BEHIND any painful/problem area under
the 'ball of the foot'. This will allow the extra padding
to absorb pressure away from 'sore spots' (see Diagram
A below). Do not place the pad under any painful areas
(only BEHIND) as this will only compound the problem.
In the case of neuromas - an extra shorter pad can be
placed over the first pad to raise the metatarsal arch
(see Diagram A below).
WE CAN ALSO PROVIDE A 'SPECIAL
CUT ' INSOLE FOR PEOPLE WITH 'ACUTE' BALL-OF-THE-FOOT
PAIN. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR DETAILS/COST.
Please note:
THERE IS NO NEED TO REMOVE ANY IN-BUILT SHOE LINERS/INSOLES
- unless necessary.
BODY IMPACT
Initial impact of the foot on the ground is normally
felt by the heel (whether walking or running). The extra
thickness and cushion of the insoles provides excellent
shock absorbency. Legs, ankles, knees, back and joints
- all will benefit from the 'extra cushioning' and ALL
OVER support .
CORNS
Insoles can be cut around 'CORNS' which occur 'UNDER'
the foot. The problem area will then be supported by
the surrounding thickness of the insoles.
